Hello all. I've been trying to find communities who might be interested in this project and I thought this would be a good place to look.
I've been developing a game called Nomera, programmed half in x86 assembly in an effort to capture the feel of mid-90s CPU only games. Also, because I have an unhealthy relationship with the C64 SID, I've sampled mine using a MSSIAH and back into my laptop to give some of the music a really crisp and chippy sound.

Please check out the video!

Of course there was a lot of modern mixing in the Kickstarter video track, but I do have a few only C64 tracks (sampled, so not technically 3 channels :S). I wrote all of the graphics routines in assembly because there was no way I could get things like good looking lighting and pretty electric arcs without packed arithmetic. I think the effort has been worth the look!

Obviously I'm Kickstarting the project, and if you liked what you saw, want more, or just like the tunes, please visit the page and help me out!
