Obviously NOT mine ;-)

Could be interesting for HP collectors.

As far as I know, that was the first 8" drive that one could connect to an HP 2100, 1000, 21Mx ....etc ...
altough it was originatly designed for the HP 9825A :

That would be interesting to "play with"

I forgot to add :

This Drive is **NOT** GPIB/HPIB Connected !! ( Given that finding an GPIB / HPIB I/O card is ..... a dream ;-) )

The 9885M and 9885S also came in bundled configurations (interface card, cables, etc) for 2000/1000 computers. The part numbers were 12732A and 12733A respectively.

The 9885 was obsoleted in February of 1984.

I have at least two 12821A HP-IB Interface for CS/80 Discs cards. My guess is that they are easier to find than the 12735-60001 / 12735-60002 interface cards for the 9885M.

there are two on eBay

you can probably get it for under half of what he's asking

this is probably the most common disk interface. the BACI (serial interface) is the most common I/O card.
