View Full Version : I've started a forum! (AGAIN!?)

November 5th, 2006, 04:34 PM

My host made me delete my last forum for some odd reason, but it was for the best as it sucked anyways. I finally managed to get phpBB up & running on it, so JOIN, OR CHUCK NORRIS WILL KILL YOUR SOUL!!!!!!

But seriously though, I need some content on it, or my host will make me delete it again...

Forum about what? Your fan cult?

Bwah, it reminds me that I still have two-three forums to configure (or develop from scratch?) for work business. One of those forums should be up and running by the end of next week. I'm still considering whether I should install (and modify) some freely available forum or re-invent the wheel.

Atari, not to be rude, but this should be considered spam seeing as your forum has the same subject base as Erik's forum here.

Also, you will NEVER have a successful site on free hosting.

This site offers $10/month account with excellent specs and options.

As noted in the other thread, personal servers coming and going really aren't newsworthy there. When you first want to announce your new forum do it in the links area. For status reports make your own web page - this isn't the place for it.

As for the content of his site, that's his business. Competition is fine, and I don't think that we mind the initial announcement.
