View Full Version : Where is the best palce to sell my collection of S-100 boards.

I fool around from time to time with my collection of Vintage Computers, Atairi ST500, Commodore, etc. I go way back to the Home Brew Computer Club. Built an Imsai 8080 in the mid 70's. I sold the mother board late 70's, wrapped the boards in aluminum foil, put them in a box in the closet and they have been there ever since.
At any rate I thought I would sell off the S-100 hardware.
I have around 12 boards but I'm not quite sure how to go about selling them.
Some of them probably fairly rare -- Comemco Dazzler, Mountain Hardware's ProRom (may very well be the first board they produced, the wire wrapped prototype was tested on my 8080.)
At any rate any pointers would be appreciated.

If you know exactly how much money you want for them, you could offer them for sale on this forum. Just pointing that out as a possibility. There are probably more S-100 fans here than anywhere else.

But since cards are easily shippable, and it sounds like you may have some extremely rare or unique ones, your best bet would be eBay. That pretty much reaches the most buyers, and since S-100 cards in generally sell for good amounts of money it would probably be worth it.

You could also post them on the S100Computers Google Group. About 175 die-hard S100 guys there.
