Hi

I would like to understand what parameters are supported by 22DISK's definition file and what they mean.

So far I have these:

RPT - nuber of 128 records per block
BSH - Block shift count (?)
BLM - block mask (?)
EXM - extent mask (?)
DSM - Disk storage maximum (?)
DRM - Directory maximum
AL0 - Directory allocation block, low order byte
AL1 - Directory allocation block, high order byte
CKS - ?
OFF - Track offset (first data track, that is, where the data begins)
OFS - Sector offset, see OFF
SSZ - ?
NTK - ?
DENSITY A,B - A is MFM/FM, B is HIGH/LOW
CYLINDERS - number of tracks / cylinders
SIDES - Set to 1 for SS, 2 for DS
SECTORS A,B - A is the number of sectors per track, B is the number of bytes per sector
SIDEn - Sector ordering per side in format "A B,C,D,E...". n is the side, A is the track, B,C,D,E... are the sectors.
SKEW - Sector skew

This is useful in helping to understand some of the terminology: http://www.hermannseib.com/documents/floppy.pdf. Sadly I'm no expert in disk geometries!

What other settings / parameters are available?

I have no idea of what SSZ and NTK are.
