Has anyone else heard about this?

Saw a posting in usenet about it and it piqued my curiosity.

An Amiga 500 done in fpga and looking incredibly small.

There are actually two different projects going at the moment.

minimig is the fpga implementation of an amiga emulator and cloneA which is a fpga implementation of the actual hardware.

The regular amiga forums have more information such as amiga.org etc..

Hmm,

Guess I'll have to pop over to the miggy side of the world and see what's skakin'.

A picture of the Minimig (http://www.amiga.org/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=2890&cid=13).

There is also a video here (http://totem.fix.no/~buzz/amiga.org/) but it is 116MB...

Ya know, this is pretty impressive. Especially if you look at the original A1000 or 500, or even the 2000. This sucker looks to be about the size of 3.5" floppy.

Quite impressive.

Now if he'd just announce a price and mass produce. I do believe I'd have to get one of these.
