This is another card I found in my AT.

Frankly, I have no idea what it is or what it does.Taking it out did not seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

If I had to guess I'd say it was a tape controller. I remember a few from back then that had support for both internal and external QIC tape drives.

This is another card I found in my AT.

With that internal (34-pin) connector, it looks like a floppy controller.

Is there an external connector? If so, is it DB-37?

There is an external connector that is identical to the blue one on the left.

I saw there was a "RTI-800" text on the left; after a bit of search I think it might be this:

Some kind of data aquisition card. Looking for a manual now :)

Its definatly a data aquisition board, the pots on top are for calibrating the input signals. The middle connection is probably for DIO inputs (ribbon cable to external plug) and the one on the end is the A/D and D/A part.

I have a bunch of ISA data aquisition cards, if you dont want them I'll take them. Without the apropriate cables and interface boards there isnt much you can do with them.
