It doesn't have to be a bona fide single board computer per se, yet really as say many palm/laptop computers are.

I own an Ampro v40 based little board, wondering what‘s out there that's smaller. Theres bound to be more then a few, but it has to be able to produce at least cga output on a crt. Preferably 16 color or ega/vga.

There have been numerous devices that come pretty close, but the one that matches your criteria might well be the C&T F8680 CPU--essentially an XT, complete with display and keyboard interfaces (and a bunch more) on a 160 pin chip. Add memory and power supply and stir.

There's the ZF-Micro ZFx86 chip for 486 compatibility with a 380 pin BGA, but it doesn't include a display interface (I think).

Later stuff includes cute things like the Intel Edison, etc. etc.

CMF8680 module is really cute. But no one can be found on ebay :-(
