I am looking for information about the Mitsubishi WAEM1O memory board. It is full length and has 4 banks of 18 sockets. All are populated with 4164s. It has a 6 DIP switch in the upper right. Has anybody information about this board? The internet has nothing. All I could find out is that there also exists a WAEM2O with a smaller profile.

Thanks in advance

Marco

It could possibly be an EMS board. If it has 72 4164's, that makes 512KB with Parity. Either it's to back fill a machine with only 128KB, or (more likely in my opinion) it provides 512KB of EMS. Those jumpers are probably to define the RAM window it uses.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any information on it!

I made a small typo. It is WEAM1O and not WAEM1O. :(

I contacted Mitsubishi Electric, but they told me they are only responsible for automation products.
