Can't figure out why there's a bit of a dogfight for this one. It's a later model chiclet PET and in non working condition. I've seen these go for a fair bit less. Is it that little sound thing they're after?

It's the first one ever produced. Serial number zero. ;)

Mine, with the plastic case, must be a fake!:o

That sound thing is not rare, I don't think. I've seen them before.

Perhaps everyone is excited about the precious metal content of the label :D And the single white RAM chip!

I'm intrigued... what is this plastic PET you speak of?

2001N-32. Only the original 2001s have all metal casework. Even some of the later 2001s had plastic tops.

Mine even has hidden slots for half height floppies, behind the removable label.

Chicklet PETs are going to bigger and bigger amounts all year. This would go $600+ if it was working from what I've seen. Nothing unusual...

Oooh so here I have an all metal 3016 with 32k RAM... WOW L@@K RARE!!

Now, that one of yours looks very interesting. I assume those floppy holes are original. Did Commodore ever produce a drive kit for it?

Rare, yes. But how rare? Who knows?

No kit. But the holes are original. I always wonder what the replacement bezel would look like.

I've thought about putting some drives in there. But to be authentic, the support circuitry would take up most of the remaining interiour, and I'd need a fan or two, which I'd really prefer not to have in there.
