Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to CP/M (dabbled just a little bit) and very new to Kaypros. I have a recently acquired 4 '84 that I am loving. That screen is amazingly sharp! I've got an HxC floppy emulator as drive A and a working DS/DD physical drive B. I've got a copy of MITE working but I want something with vt100 emulation. So I thought I'd try Qterm. But when I go to patch it with:

zsm qt-kpro.z

I get an error:

Bdos Err on B: Bad Sector

Now I've tried several disks as well as a virtual disk in the HxC. They all give that error. This is the patch and zsm from qtpat42.lbr that one would find on the net. Anyone know what I'm missing to get this to compile? Or does anyone have an already patched qterm.com for the Kaypro?

Much thanks,
Doug

So I got past the error by running the command while logged into drive a (with zsm and the patch on b) like so:

A0>b:zsm b:qt-kpro.z

I don't know why that made a difference, but it worked.
