Hello all,
. . . . I have been interested in the S100 bus system since I was in my late teens, early 20s. Well after kind of following the S100 world for the last 40 years I have decided to take the plunge. I have been given an IA-1010 Z80 board and an AM-300 serial board. I am going to get Josh's JAIR-8080 board and a Prototyping board. I am mostly going to build the system using John's S100 Computers.com boards.
. . . . I would like to build a 19-21 active terminated, front panel ready MB. Josh, (Crusty) sent me to this site to ask if someone can help me out. It has been suggested my one of the members on the Google Group, S100computers that I design and build a S100 MB that meets those requirements. I have designed and built a few simple boards but nothing as complex as a board like this. This is kind of a daunting task for me.
. . . . Does anyone have or know of someone who has a bare MB that I can buy? Since I am disabled and on Social Security Disability it will take me months just to get a small system up and running. I am very patient with obstacles of this sort. It will also take me years to build a complete system with the boards that I want to build and install. I have a stock of $10K + in electronic components and if I need anything that I don't have in stock I will order these parts as needed and also throw in a bunch of other parts that I am getting low on. Well enough of my request and the short history. I tire easily so there will be more to come. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. The only thing that can offend me is severe rudeness.
