I've got a DOS 3.2 boot disk for my Olivetti Prodest PC1, but it is in Italian. I wondered if anybody had access to boot disks that came with the English versions of this PC?

Thank you.

I'm also interested in this, however it should be quite a standard 3.2 MS-DOS on a 720kb diskette. A Spanish version exist so it must be also in English. Any other language version are also desired.

There is technically nothing special on Prodest PC 1. You can take any MS-DOS version of your language.

You will find a MS-DOS 3.2 boot disk for Olivetti Prodest PC1 plus lot of software for it here:

and, yes, the page is in Italian but the boot disk is in English

No, this is really in Italian, it's only a bad screenshot.

I think you can re-create English DOS floppy overwriting "COMMAND.COM" and then "IBMBIO.COM" "IBMDOS.COM" from a standard 3.20 English dos.
The "IBM....COM" files contain little text but is better to overwriting it.

I was gonna say, that first link definitely wasn't in English in every area. ;)

The second link however, definitely in English.

Yes, but this version is not the "Olivetti Prodest PC1" system disk, because it lack i.e. LR.COM or CRT.COM

I think is for some Olivetti DOS Compatible machine, but not PC1 specific. :)

You can anyhow use any dos version and add these tools (for example from italian disk). By the way, what these commands do? I don't know them.

Yes, indeed. But for historical reason I search the newer, better and any language available of the floppy image for this specific machine. (if exist)

LR.COM is the included Broderbund "Lode Runner" games (in the MS-DOS disk!)
CRT.COM is useful to change SCART frequency from 60Hz to 50Hz for "Peritel" or Italian Standard! Output to TV set is clearer and higher with 4/3 form factor. Machine specific.
