Trying to find out if there is any value to my vintage Tandy. 1986 purchased. Tandy 1000 sx with internal hard drive, Dot matrix printer, color monitor cm-5.
40 meg hard drive
1 meg ram
original Tandy ms dos disc
2 - 5 1/4'' disc drives
286 processor
Original manuals
Bootable dos
Blank floppies

Desk Mate, Multi Mate, Keep It, Quicken 4, D base, Lotus, Norton Utility, Dos version 3.3, Various Games.... Everything Works Perfectly. Everything looks brand new.. If someone could help with this, I would greatly appreciate it. I want to sell it, but I don't know what it is worth. Thank You for your help.

Its an 8088 with AT BEST 640k ram unless it has some weird expansion board installed.

The cm5 is a crappy monitor but cga is still pretty rare. I have bought a few similar systems for around 100 to 125 (without shipping.) May be worth a bit more id the hard drive is fully functional.

He may have a 286 Express accelerator installed in the machine, which was marketed for the SX. A picture of the insides would reveal all.

Question: Do you plan on using/restoring your unit or selling the SX outright? I might be interested in your 286 card if you decide to part it out.
