All:

I’m having trouble getting the TEENY/DeskLink program from club100.org working and wanted to find out if anyone has had success with it. DeskLink works in a command prompt window under XP but I think my problem is on the M100 side of things.

There’s a program called “TEENY” that comes with the package that creates a mini-DOS in-memory but I've done the setup twice and I can't seem to get it to work.

I have a Model 100 with 32k of RAM. Any hints/tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Ok I figured out what the secret is. The directions guide you through setting HIMEM parameters and indicate that HIMEM should be set to equal to or less than the "top" number returned from the TEENY loader. That doesn't work...you have to set it to TOP-1 (i.e., CLEAR0,(TOP-1)). Then, it works.

Having solved that problem, I figured out that DL transfers anything. So, you can transfer DOS100.BA and DOS100.CO from the DL distribution to the M100 memory and execute DOS100.BA to load TS-DOS. Joy!
