This is a follow up to D-LINK DE-100TP REV-D1 NIC. Completely flummoxed.

What are the usual IRQs for an ST-225 adapter card, WDXT-GEN.

That's why 8-bit NICs by default use IRQ 3.
Yes, your problem is probably IRQ conflict, I can't believe there are functional differences between DE100PD.COM and DE100PD.SYS

OK, I got it to work by REM BACKPACK.SYS

Used 96 3 832 all decimal.

I'll reinstate BACKPACK.SYS and see what happens.

de100pd.com doesn't work. putting de100pd.sys in config.sys works

putting backpack.sys in and it works

Just curious--what version of DOS are you using in this setup?

MS-DOS 6.22. It's a bit slow but does for testing Mr Brutman's mTCP.

I now have my Windows 10, my PS/1, a 486 and two 5150s connected on my LAN, all chugging along nicely.
