Hiya!

I have an old ST351A/X HDD and I think it's a perfect match to finally test this JUKO 8BIT IDE controller:

So I found on Seagate's FTP the drive's jumper settings: http://computermuseum.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de/pcdisk/h/ASCII/4252.TXT
I can't really understand it, must be getting senile
What jumpers to I close to make it work? 7-8 is the obvious one to enable "XT MODE" , do I also need 1-2 and 11-12 ?
I have seen a thread here about a similar question but the OP never updated on the settings that worked...

I am also unsure of the jumper settings on that controller as well but that's another story, I want to be 100% sure about the HDD first

Any help as always is greatly appreciated

On a related topic (ST-01 & ST-296N) I just turned jumpers on/off until I got it working. This may (or not) help. :)

Bus reset low vs. high depends on the controller you use. Just try both until you find which one works (hopefully!).
