I have an amiga 600 that is booting to only a green screen ocasiony flicking back to black, it is hooked to a TV using RCA cables.
I read in another thread that the green screen indicates bad ram, is this repairable, if so is it a solder job or push in ram. Any help appreciated, Thanks.

I'm fairly certain that the Amiga 600 has onboard RAM chips (no memory modules such as SIMM) with possible expansion though the PCMCIA port. I'm not sure if the chips are soldered or socketed, but I'd guess the former. Somewhere there ought to be schematics of some kind.

Sorry for not being able to help more than that, but perhaps someone else can be more specific.
