View Full Version : Westwind adapter

I have a Kaypro that has a daughterboard that plugs into the CPU socket. On the daughterboard there's a socket for the CPU, a Z80 PIO, a PAL, and a couple of 74xx ICs. There's a 50-pin header that has a ribbon cable connected with three connectors on it.

From that I've been able to find (mostly articles and ads) Westwind sold RAM disks and hard drive adapters for the Kaypro and Osborne. The hard drive adapters were for connecting Trantor hard drives. More searching suggests the Trantor drives used a SASI-to-MFM adapter board.

Does anyone have the software for the Westwind board?
