Do the ASROCK motherboards with parallel and serial work in DOS ?

I saw a screenshot of the uefi bios that showed a standard port number for the serial...

Not sure which board you are referring to, but DOS should work providing that there are no special chipset drivers required to access the serial and parallel ports. Most modern boards are oriented towards Windows operating systems which would require chipset drivers per your Windows version. You could load Windows and then run the DOSBox emulator which would give you access to those ports.

If that board also has a PS/2 connector for a keyboard/mouse then the parallel and serial port are on that same standard IO chip compatible with dos.
