Well perhaps with all the musical discussions occurning in here (like the computer ones) perhaps Music such be in some section?

A while ago I thought how good would it be to put a decent alternative song which might be a big hit song in some cases. The only tricky thing about this is sometimes alternative songs can be hits themselves, but anyway.

Anyway, I'm not limiting the age of the song or whenever it came out in relation to, the song could be a hit or just a good song covered by somebody else (so the rule here I suppose is there must be more than one version of the song - from different groups).

Some examples of mine - because I like 60s songs so much this is what I'll include (they maybe songs which date back earlier though):

"A Whiter Shade of Pale" - Johnny Rivers
"Green Tambourine" - Status Quo
"Shella" - Status Quo
"It was a very good year" - The Turtles
"Shop Around" - The Allusions
"Both sides now" - Glenn Campbell.

Anyway there just a couple which come to mind. Some of the titles might sound familiar (they would be hit songs from others) and perhaps others less so - still their remakes which I've enjoyed. Anybody got any which they wish to share?
