Looking for the software for the Sony SMC-70GP

I downloaded one boot diskette from
http://www.classiccmp.org/dunfield/img54306/system.htm

However, may be another software?

Thanks in advance.

I have it on my list to back up all of the disks I have, but at the moment I only have 1 working drive and can only back up certain disks (see this thread for more detail: http://www.vcfed.org/forum/showthread.php?61952-Reading-SMC-70-disks). It's cool to meet someone else with an SMC-70, what all do you have with your system? I keep an eye out for the accessories for it, and laughed when some documentation showed up on eBay last week for $40 a piece. People really do think they can get insane money for things just because the item is old.

I have only one SMC-70GP without any disks and documentation. I did not even turning on it. I still hope to get some disks or documentation from the person from whom I received it.

Normally, one would at least try the boot disk.
What else are you hoping to find?

I hope to find a specialized genlocking software for making some videoeffects.

I've a good amount of SMC-70 software and IIRC, some video editing software is included. I'll check it ;-)

About disk reading or writing, the best tool is 1DITT or the later NDITT, they work great with 1DD disks.

Very cool, I'll be curious to see what you have, as I've never come across the software for the genlocker.

Don't know if there's any problem in sharing this piece of software. If so, I'll remove it ASAP:

SMC-70 Sony Video Titler v1.1 (https://www.sendspace.com/file/dcpeg6)

The problem with these titles is the compatibility between SMC-70 & SMC-777, there's a subtle line between both machines (being very different beasts tho) and I'm not always sure when a title is SMC-70 compliant. I've a real SMC-70 but it's truly a monster to setup and usually it's not over my desk :-), the 777 is more home-friendly.

So, although I'm mostly sure that it's a 70's software, if someone can check the video titler compatibility and share your results would be great.
