A CL-GD5434-J-QC-F Cirrus Logic PCI VGA PCB I bought does not work on a P51430VX-250 MOBO. Any thoughts? The PC boots up fine but beeps and does not display anything on the LCD.

Try another video card. Or try the card in another system.

ISA VGAs work fine. Will try another system (all have MOBO integrated VGA so will need to turn that off).

Check your BIOS settings for video setup. Sometimes you are offered options like PCI/AGP or on-board vs, ? slot, etc.

Tried in the IBM PS/ValuePoint P60/D: did not work. Tried in the Digital Starion 200i: did not work. My Dictaphone only has five 5 ISA riser slots. Go figure.

Anyway: seller was nice and refunded. I offered to return the card.

Huh a Pentium board with no PCI slots? How odd!
