Does anyone know how to get into the bios setting on a Tandy 1000 Model # 25-1000?I finally got a hard card and am getting invalid drive spec. I think
that if I can get into the bios I can get this thing to work.:-?

Tandy 1000s (or any other 8086-class box) do not keep thier setup info in CMOS RAM. They are set up with switches/jumpers. Try looking here for setup info:

:D Terry, thanks for the push in the right direction. Don't know
for sure what I did, but based on the info from that site I tried the hsect command and it worked. That command must be a lo level format.
Thanks for your help

Yep, HSECT is a disk formatting program. It fixed some read errors on my Conner CP2024 20MB drive. It wouldn't work at all before running the hsect program.
