I am officially the self-proclaimed happiest man on earth for the day of Sat., June 16th 2007. Reason being, is I was checking my seller fees. It said that my last invoice I owed ebay $9.60, Invoice date 6/16/2007. Underneath that, it said Fees since last invoice: $42.00, Total fees: $48.60. I knew that wasn't true, as I hadn't had any activity in 2 days on eBay. I emailed customer support(copies below) and turns out it was just a glitch. Whew! :)

Dear Jack,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to the incorrect balance amount
showing on your seller's account.

I realize that the total selling fees for your account are not reflected
correctly on your account status page. I apologize for any inconvenience
that you have experienced as a result of the problem.

I've checked your account status and confirmed your current balance.
Please be assured that the correct balance for your seller's account is
$9.60.

It seems that this is just a temporary glitch and it'll be resolved
shortly. The total fees at the top may not be correct due to this
temporary glitch, but the fees shown at the bottom will show the exact
fees incurred by you and the correct account balance.

Also, let me assure you that your invoice will show you the correct fees
incurred for your billing month. Similarly, you may view your account
status page to check the detailed itemized fees charged to your account.
To view your account activity, please follow these steps:

1. Click on the "My eBay" button at the top of any eBay page. You may be
asked to sign in.

2. On your My eBay page, click the "My Account" link located in the
column on the left side of the page.

3. Next, click the "View account status" link. This link is located
under the heading "My Seller Account Summary," in parenthesis next to
the words "Fees since last invoice."

4. The next page will display your account status. If you wish to view a
previous invoice, click the (View invoices) link and then select the
invoice you wish to view from the drop-down menu.

This will show your last invoice and explain the charges to your account
in detail. You can also view your invoices for the past 18 months.

For detailed information about eBay's selling fees, please take a moment

concerns. You may also contact our Billing Live Chat for billing
questions. To reach Live Help for assistance on billing issues, go to:

I understand your frustration regarding this matter and apologize for
the inconvenience it caused you.
