Wow ! That went for $112. I'm going to have to reexamine some of my books. The author's name Art Margolis does jiggle my memory banks but not enough to bring it up.

That C=128 book is probably a re-work of Margolis' Troubleshooting and Repairing Personal Computers, which was mostly Tandy CoCo-centric. Very popular book in it's time, and very informative. I think I still have a paperback copy somewhere in storage.

Ah. I also have a paperback copy of Troubleshooting and Repairing the new Personal Computers by Art Margolis. First edition, third printing 1987. It says on the cover that it handles IBM PC/XT/AT and compatibles, Apple II series, Macintosh, Commodore 64/128 and Amiga.

It is a great joy for me to read through vintage scietific books where
the author goes about in-depth explanation of every detail that was so
new and novel at its time. One of the best books about electronic that I
have read was a french book about vacuum tube radios, and it was written
as a dialogue between an electronic guru (kind of a Mr. Wizard) and an
enthusiastic student who wanted to know everything in one day! I learned so
many new things about electronics that I hadn't learned in my college
