Ok. now that I've pretty much decided that no one is going to buy the Apple //e I picked up a few months back, I am debating some uses for it.

I just watched the BBS Documentary, and thought about setting up a BBS, but really, I think a BBS would probably run better on an old-ish PC rather than a //e.

So. I am back to the file server idea. Basically gutting the //e and using the case to house a small file server.

Hs anyone such a thing? If so, did you run into any major obstacles?

That actually looks cool. But it is a lot of work for little payoff (as if gutting a //e and building a PC inside of it isn't a lot of work).

Not to mention, I don't want to start buying even MORE pointless antequated hardware. It's a slippery slope!
