I was given an old Kaypro about 10 years ago, I was never really use it. It had no disks, and I got a boot disk through the mail, but it still didn't like it. I was in high school at the time, and ended up having to throw it out to to save space, but I did strip out the guts. I've gotten nostalgic for vintage PCs and came across the box today digging out my other machines, I'm wondering if any of it is useful? I do recall the guy I got the boot disk said there was something unusual about it, I'd guessing it was the board with the 8088 CPU. If I remember correctly it a Kaypro II, with a blue case. Here are some pictures:

Yep, good guess. It was a Plus88 version.

I will take them off your hands. How much? And where are you located?

Heh - you gotta wait in line ;)
Well, for the SWP 8088 board, at least!

Oh, sorry Sharko. Go for it, I already have one. BTW, the 8088 mod is two boards. You need the little one that jacks into the Z80 socket too (second pic).

Oh - no offense taken, T - I was trying to be a little phunny in the response.

Quite a bit is lost in typed text, vs spoken words ;)
I already checked - he has both boards, and the cable.

Only downside, is that it's the 128KB version. Has the daughterboard connectors, but no daughterboard with the other 128KB ;)
