View Full Version : MS-DOS Software Announcement

October 13th, 2007, 08:04 AM
I'm posting this message to this thread because I couldn't think of any better place to post it. Erik, if you can think of a better location, please move the post.

That said, a coworker came up to me the other day and asked if I would be interested in some old MS-DOS based software. He has been holding on to this since the 80's, and has all of the original disks, manuals and even boxes (for some of it, anyway). He said his wife had put her foot down and "requested" he clean out the storage closet where he has it stored.

I do not know what software this will include, or even how much. He will start bringing it by and giving it to me. When he does, I will make announcements to that fact.

I will not be able to keep this software. My 1,400 square foot house is already crowded to the gills! I also do not want anything for this, just shipping. I will post a list of the software, and try to get an accurate shipping price for each "item".

This will be a first-come, first-serve process. The software that remains behind will meet one of three fates: 1) if I can, I will keep it. 2) If I can't keep it, I will try to eBay it. 3) Any software that just won't go, will get tossed in the trash.

I will post more information as I get it, please do not post any messages (public or private) regarding this software until I do. Remember, I do not know what it will be until my friend gives it to me.
