Hi,

I have an C64 and I remember those happy days when I used to write programs from the mags. I have searched for printable codes, but have not found much.

So my question is: Does anybody have codes that could be printed out?

And if possible does anybody have code that are not copyrighted that I could make available online if I get the time to make a site for myself?

All the best...

Um, are you looking for listings to type in? Should they be genuine listings as actually published in a computer magazine or book from the 80's?

There are sites who more or less legally archive old magazines, by scanning them page by page. Certainly among those archives there should be type-in listings, but I'm uncertain to which extent you could publish them as well. Otherwise there are a lot of programs in the public domain for which you could generate listings in one way or another.

If you need to know how to print a Basic listing, the code is something like this:

OPEN 1,4 : REM 4 or 5 is the typical device number for the printer
CMD 1 : REM READY will be displayed on printer instead of screen
LIST : REM listing is also redirected to printer
PRINT#1 : REM to clear the printer queue and get output back to screen
CLOSE 1

I've got a few C= 64-centric magazines for postage cost. Pm me if you want 'em.
