View Full Version : Found a Zip Chip

Well, I bought a "parts machine" //e on eBay, largely because it was full of cards and I got it for $2.50 plus $10 shipping. It finally arrived yesterday and among the interesting parts was a Zip Chip (model 8000) installed on the motherboard and a Thunderclock card. The clock card is missing the battery, but the Zip Chip looks OK. I haven't had a chance to test any of it yet, but now I have some new stuff to play with this weekend.

Yeah, it was a lucky catch. Most //e's in decent shape go for a lot more.
