  1. Tandy 2500 SX/20 and Tandy 4825 SX restoration thread

I just dug out my old Tandy 4825 SX and want to max it out. Can anyone tell me what the largest hard drive this will support natively? Also could I use an AMD 5x86-P75 with it? There doesnít seem to be a way to change the FSB from 25 to 33MHz, but I canít remember if this vintage machine would just adjust automatically.

    Thanks!

  2. Multibus & Amstrad PCW, what a pair

Fitted my Gotek into the case by cutting the original badge, as it had been cut out to allow the original drive to be mounted as drive B, it was already missing, but still seems a shame to cut original stuff.
On the plus side, with the OLED, the Gotek looks good and is useable.

Been collecting some multibus cards for a few years now. Have a 286 processor card and a memory card. recently obtained a card frame, linear PSU and have been looking for a suitable 'vintage' looking ...

    To separate these, first ...

  4. Amstrad ! arrgh

I have had this PCW 9512 sat in the workshop for almost a year now after picking it up in Telford (for the princely sum of £3.70) so I thought it was time it got an airing.

Powered up to a white screen, quick poke about to find this is normal.

Got to hand it to that Sugar bloke, he knows how to build down to a price. No ROMS !, system boots from a small amount of code built into the printer driver chip FFS.

Came with a disk, but this was very none operational ...

I know Lore(nzo) has one with the Wavetable add-on (he's NY-based, so hiding from the COVID-19 risks a.t.m.), but they are rare as rocking-horse doodoo and sell for ridiculous prices on eBay (I'm talking thousands, not hundreds of dollars U.S.). Lore doesn't come on here that I know of, and the MCA Mafia "live" elsewhere, apart from
