I find spring steel painters/dental spatulas very useful for opening clipped-together plastic cases. Far stronger than plastic spudgers, not as sharp as a knife blade and a lot thinner than a flat...
Seem's a bit expensive to me, Have you searched for "Plastic pry tool" on ebah, I have a couple of chisel type plastic tools, I think they came with CPU's many years ago, I've found them very useful...
