I believe the ST-11R is the only 8-bit controller that supports the ST-250R. I don't recommend swapping the control board on that drive model, because it is different than the usual 3600 RPM models.
I have a non-functional 8296. The PLA at U5 is super hot as soon as it’s powered up. I’m assuming it’s bad. Does anyone know of a replacement PLA for this machine?
This isn't the latest model, I believe it's a model/revision "C". Used very little, Whatever it came with, original packing etc. 90$ + shipping. Photos upon request (PMs please).
I'll post photos soon once I get everything fixed up and planning on sprucing up the system with cleaning and retr0briting of the keys (gotta get Salon Care 40 Volume) and the case (cleaning).
