That stem looks suspiciously like Delrin. Does superglue work with that? There are special glues for bonding the acetal stuff...
That depends. If it uses the RST x vectors, you need SRAM in low memory at least for those.

Good question. I think it would be too hard, and probably not too efficient, to further regulate these voltages down for use with a floppy drive. I happen to have a 45W switcher that was scrapped...
