    Hello Andrew,

Have you had any recent contact with Allison? She hasn't
posted in those forums that I know of for a while now.
I read some bad news about Barry Watzman from os.cpm

    Andrew,

I just got home on Monday and your N8VEM boards with ROMs were waiting for me in a pile with a few other purchases.

The Forum has gotten out of hand and I just haven't had time to read everything. So where are we on the N8VEM? There is a backplane kit already available? Has anyone come up with a bonefide Jameco or Digi-Key BOM list? Floppy drive?

Looking forward to building your computer.

Over at N8VEM we are struggling to keep the N8VEM Wikipedia page from being deleted by the Wikipedia editors. Apparently they consider the page as not "notable"

A New Z80 Based WD2793 Floppy Disk Controller Board (FDC) for S-100 Bus systems

An S-100 Board to convert IBM PC keyboard data to parallel ASCII

by lynchaj on March 4th, 2011 at 08:45 AM
Hi! I still have a small number of these PCBs left so if anyone would like some please let me know. This is a nice looking board in any vintage S-100 system and blends in well. The displays are very useful and interesting to watch. The commonly available PS/2 keyboard is an inexpensive and reliable way to communicate with your system.

A 4Mg Static RAM S-100 board

by lynchaj on March 4th, 2011 at 08:42 AM
Hi! I did a recent reorder of the S-100 4MB SRAM boards and have a few left over. If you would like one they are $20 each plus $3 shipping in the US or $6 elsewhere.

These boards were very popular last year and many builders requested for another batch. I got some extra PCBs anticipating there would be others coming along later.

These boards have no known defects AFAIK and

What remains is to update the trace routing on the SMB base board and display mezzanines and then place the order.

Functionally the S-100 SMB is like an updated version of the Jade
