Hi. I have got it working by using Debug command G=C800:5. I only thought it was bios incompability because the cylinders didn't match the card settings.
Hi. How did you get BXD07 bios to recognize ST-225? The amount of cylinders doesn't match so my 286 computer says "HDD controller failure" after controller bios says "1 fixed disk". Also my IBM 5150 gets the same bios message but when trying FDISK or anything else they just beeps loud and says "error reading the disk". I'm trying to get it working for 5150.
Yea. Decided it was time for an update
ooo, new profile picture! that you?
Tezza, did you see this on TradeMe today: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/V...-182756767.htm Some serious old iron, looks like it's from Canterbury's mech eng department.
Good to hear you got it going. Tez
thanks, the mention of compressed air led me extract the keyboard from the frame, pretty easy to do...and then vacuum and blow through the slits of the keyboard. That did the trick.
