I agree but don't have any way to copy the harddisk, unless you know any other way then using an MFM emulator ?

Alright, so I fixed the harddisk and it boots into Xenix 3.2f. Didn't know the password but tried a few common ones and it was as easy as repeating...

Question (lots of posts after each other hehe); can you test the tantalum's while they are still on the PCB ? And will a standard multimeter work ?

My guess, as an electronic noob, was that there was soo much dust between the PCB and rotating part that it was unable to rotate and thus destroyed...
