Honestly, the price is pretty much where I pass, I'd not pay that for a keyboard no matter who made it or what it was based on.

Good to know.
Honestly, the price is pretty much where I pass, I'd not pay that for a keyboard no matter who made it or what it was based on.
They are selling those $380, plus I am not sure why they are calling them model F keyboards, they are not. For one thing they do not have the Model F key layout. These are more like the small model M.
Probably not. There are some holes that will line up with the ATX holes and you can use the regular stand offs for them, for any that did not line up (there were 2 IIRC) I took those AT slide in...
I have a 486 in an ATX myself, works just fine and everything lines up,n the only gotcha's are:
1. The IO shield - You can just leave it out completely, or if you are lucky there are some ATX io...
I think Norton Ghost could do this, it runs on top of DOS IIRC.
Yes, that has happened here.
Pretty sure that's happened as well.
Has absolutely happened, and I believe an incident I am thinking about is the main reason why edit limits were put in...
Sounds like you have it working. But from your initial post I can tell you that you are missing DNS settings, which means you would have no name resolution, and would not be able to browse the...
Eh, that's what my ~36Tb unRAID NAS is for.
Yeah, the board is going for around $400 at the moment. I was thinking about buying it, and shoving my 1800x on it and using that till I could get...
Are you sure? Asus's site lists that one as not having Wifi. It's not a cheap board though, I am not too sure I want to spend $400 on a board.
Does that have built in Wifi? I really want to get a high end board that does not have Wifi built in, as I won't need it.
And how many NVMe PCIe slots does it have? I am hoping to get a board with...
Yep, that's why I am going to wait till ~April to upgrade to the 5800x and a RTX3070. It's a bit pointless trying now IMO.
@Agent Orange - What board are you going with for you 5900x?
I would suggest a careful examination of the motherboard for any leaking or bloated capacitors. Also check the voltage lines for a dead short to ground.
If it where me, I'd do some packet sniffing and see if it is trying to ping a specific ip on the internet to check for connectivity (like MS does with Windows these days). Could be that whatever it's...
I recently saw someone saying that contact cleaner (deoxit/WD-40) also works much better than alcohol. I've been meaning to try it.
Not sure about stand alone, non-web applications, but for web based ones, it's simply that the browser will no longer allow Flash Player to run at all.
I have to disagree with this statement. Adobe announced 2 years ago that this was happening, and most of the browsers announced this before that, and started phasing flash out more than a year ago....
The main reason why most people at the time (and continue till today) believe that it was not a good OS was because it introduced some serious game changes along the lines of security and stability,...
Would you be interested in a T61 by chance?
Original disks or copies?
If your open to it, I'd pay you the shipping to mail them to me rather than the junk box.
Right, I forgot that it does that. Shows you how many times I've done it :D
I've deleted a few posts from here, as they really were not on topic, and were once again devolving into a Linux vs Windows flame war, which is completely unrelated to the topic at hand. Please just...
I, as a rule, never upgrade my OS from one major version to another. Does not matter if this is Linux, Windows or eve MacOS. Fresh install is a bit more work, but almost always ends with way less...
So long as we are talking about original stuff and not pirated versions/copied disks etc, then yes this is a place for that.
Yes. The idea is to fill the empty space so that the monitor cannot move too much, but not so rigid that the shock gets transferred directly to the plastic or glass.
Do you have any 486 - early pentium horizontal (the kind where the monitor goes on top of the case) desktops?
