Seeking floppy mounting bracket for AT&T 6300 computer. The bracket looks like the one shown in the two pictures below as IMG_3335a and IMG_3336a. In addition, I am seeking the A/C or A/B plastic...
I bought the AT&T 6300 from the VCF seller in Morgantown, WV. The machine came with an AT&T CRT-319 monitor. Is this monitor color or monochrome? I cannot find anything about it or a manual on the...
Seeking Perstor PS 180/200 series 8-bit ISA controller card.
Just an update, the ansi.sys received from Trixter's link worked. Thanks to all who assisted with this effort.
Thank you for reissuing Trixters link. For some reason, his initial link didn't work. Yours's did. So, thanks.
The vgafudge doesn't have any documentation with it from the GetHub website. Only an exe file and an asm file. So, yes, I got zip documentation on the use of the software or any arguments available....
The following were a sequence of tests conducted on AT&T using one source of ansi.sys or vgafudge.exe or nansi.sys. Results are shown below.

Trixter: MSDOS 6.22
Endimorphodon: sorry vgafudge didn’t work. The machine recognized that the exe was a Tandy but spewed out some high level characters on screen then stopped requiring a button...
I did the reverse of your suggestion; I rem’d the ANSI.sys and the machine booted. I also changed the prompt in the autoexec.bat back to $p$g. I still have to try the vgafudge.exe as yet.
Eudimorphodon: thanks, I'll try the vgafudge tool.
Chuck(G): NASNI seems to have a lot of assembly code. Do I need an assembler on the AT&T to compile this into binary?
Trixter: Interesting...
The following text is a combined effort to show my config.sys and autoexec.bat files. The reader will immediately notice that I have two calls for DHCP in the autoexec.bat file. This is because I am...
ANSI.sys is a tool from MSDOS that is supposed to allow the foreground and background colors of the display to be changed. I tried to invoke this sys file in my MSDOS 6.22 environment on an AT&T 6300...
Will the drivers used with the mTCP will or will not work with this Tiny VNC tool?
Ok, I sent you an email. Thanks.
I am interested in the AT&T 6300 that you have. I would like to discuss the price and shipping off the Forum. Please contact me via email alejack12001@yahoo.com.
Agreed and thanks. PM is what?
Trixter:
I have found an AT&T 6312 on eBay for $189 as a starting point for an auction that ends tomorrow. The price only seems for the CPU box. Keyboard, hard drive, and monitor are not offered....
Have you sold the AT&T as yet?
I was able to turn off the NTLM and the ATT was able to telnet into the Win 2K machine. Also, I was able to get the FTP to allow file transfer. So everything works. Many thanks to all who walked me...
Thanks to all who gave their feedback. Yes, the NTLM or NTLS or whatever is some sort of authentication routine that must be turned off. I have more reading to do there.
To the responder Svenska, the messages I received initially using telnet on the AT&T were strange as the Win 2K machine seemed to look for NTLS from the sender. The exact message was "Error NTSL not...
Chuck, you mentioned a Linux based network. I am a little confused by that statement. Most home networks are Linux in general if you're using OpenWRT or DDWRT.
I tried to stand up a telnet session...
Has anyone used a VNC for DOS on an 8086 machine? If so, please let me know what works.
The creation of the mtcpcfg file was a success in generating the IP address and other data for the config using the dhcp executable. I used the ping and was surprised to see it worked. I tried...
I wanted to let Chuck(G) and everyone else that I had success today in getting the AE-2/C and the AUI to work with the AT&T 6300. Chuck(G): the changes you sent for the I/O addressing schema and the...
