I shouldn't have said important for Tandy graphics, to be honest.

From my perspective it's a feature I've used more often than the Tandy DAC, and if I had to pick a single 1000 system to live with...

A lot of people consider the composite output important for Tandy graphics, and I tend to agree.

I think the TX is your best bet in that case, but that is missing the DAC as I recall, so it's a...

Actually, MS-Works for DOS includes a calender app as well, and the database application was dbase compatible.

You might want to look into that, and see if there's anything you can leverage.

I'm thinking a simple custom web interface written with doslynx in mind that connects to your egroupware stuff in the backend might be your best bet.

I think a mysql client for 16-bit msdos...

Sounds like an interesting problem to solve then. I don't have much advice about egroupware, I haven't much experience with it.

Regarding your connectivity dilemma, though: Is the Tandy not on...

Maybe I missed it in your text, but what Tandy are you using? Is it the same one in your Tandy problems post? I don't think it'll ever support SSH, cpu is way too slow. I use telnet on my Tandy...

I am assuming that this adapter injects the power that the ribbon cable doesn't provide in the SL Tandy.

Was there ever any exploration of the 16-bit extended slot on this board? Did you check continuity with the 12v/5v/ground lines to see if it's just unused vias, or possibly actually connected?
