Thread: Atarimax Universal SIO2PC/ProSystem interface

    Default Atarimax Universal SIO2PC/ProSystem interface

This is not a full review, but I thought I'd just write a brief note on this product.

I got one of these a few months ago (the USB version), and thought I'd test it out before I packed this Atari 130XE away.

It's great. Installation is a breeze, and the interface is quite intuitive. You can see the small card below, pretending to be an atari disk drive.

I own one as well along with the APE (Atari Peripheral Emulator) software package, booting from disk images stored on my XP system or mapping a directory on the computer to computer files to/from my Atari is priceless...

I bought out a rather extensive library of 8bit software and my winter project is archiving all of it and having this interface is just what the doctor ordered!!!

    Hi,

I had a further play with this device just recently and decided to write an article on my experiences, for those who might be interested.
