    Default ROM BASIC question

Does the PS/2 model 25 have ROM BASIC or was it removed by the time IBM introduced it?

The entire IBM PS/2 series has BASIC in ROM. My 55sx since I cant get it to boot to DOS boots to BASIC, I do know that the 90 and 95 also have BASIC in ROM so I do believe that they all came with some version of BASIC.

Either by invoking Int18h, or by disconnecting the hard-drive before boot.

    Obsolete:Commodore A500 ( ~1990 ), IBM PS/2 model 70/386 type 8570-161 ( 1991 ), Atari Lynx II ( ~1992 ), Generic Intel 486SX PC ( ~1993 ), AT/T Globalyst Pentium w/FDIV bug MB ( 1994 ), Compaq 486DX4 laptop ( ~1995 ).

    Type the following:
    Code:
    A 100[enter]
    INT 18h[enter]
    [enter]
    R DS[enter]
    0000[enter]
    R ES[enter]
    0000[enter]
    g[enter]
Then it should just pop up.

IBM used it even longer than that. I swear I once saw an IBM Aptiva tower with about a Pentium-133 in it boot up to Cassette BASIC in ROM!
