Default Disk Software Archiving & Storage: VCF Best Practice?

Over the years I have picked up a large amount of boxed sets of very old software for the IBM PC and compatibles. Over the holidays I pulled out the boxes and it's rather shocking the amount that I have collected. The list includes Lotus 123, Graphicwriter, VT220 Emulator, EZ-Vu Development Facility and IBM Writiing Assistant, etc. I would be willing to copy the floppy disks and make them available, but I would appreciate guidance on what format to put the disk images in, and also where should the files be stored or made available? I also could scan the manuals into PDF files if there is sufficient interest. Thanks, Michael

I would put the disk imags into a .IMZ or .IMG format.

Please take a look at previous threads here - this topic is discussed fairly often. Use the forum search feature, or use Google - we are indexed there quite well.
