Thread: We need a west coast show!

Default We need a west coast show!

Going to the VCF at the Computer History Museum in California was a really fun and large event. There has not been a VCF West for a few years and we really need one. Anybody else agree? What can we do?

Heck yeah! Bring it to San Diego, the greatest city that has nothing to do with vintage computers but I still want it here out of convenience for me!

I was about to suggest Coalmont myself.

However it might make more sense to go with San Francisco. In fact a complete reenactment of the 1977 Computer Faire would get my vote.

San Diego sounds good! or San Francisco. Either way, I'd be in!

Even though I'm in Texas, I would love an excuse to come out that direction again!

I live in San Diego, so I can look around here for a location but I like the bay area better as that's the hub.

Hey Vince, I mentioned on the Open Apple podcast last month that you were local to SD as well as a few other notable Apple II contributors and kinda joked about having an event out here. By the way, totally off topic, but do you have any RAM chips that work on a GS Ram Plus card that I can buy?

We definitely need to bring the VCF back west.. San Francisco sounds best to me (as I'm here) but I would certainly go where the computers are..
Count me in to help in any way..

Don't forget that "VCF" is owned by Sellam. I would check before launching anything with that name.
