With all this talk about early 5150s, how about the newest one anybody has ever come across? I’ve got one that was made in 1986 which has a 130W XT PSU.

I’d also like to see very early production XTs as well.

    Hah!

Cool! Does that one have a 130W XT PSU or just a standard 63.5W?

AND YES, WE FINALLY NEED SOMEONE TO TAKE REGISTER OF 5150A SERIAL NUMBERS. Also with pictures and names of owners...
Would be nice if there was a good site that could host such a list. Some sort of website for vintage computer collectors, perhaps.

I'm assuming you got all this stuff at Computer Reset?
LOL, because yes, this computer with the low serial came from Computer Reset. I already had a 16-64KB 5150 and a bunch of other stuff. In fact, Computer Reset brought me back to my childhood (and my mentor's business, which was maybe 1/4th the size). The best part was finding the 5161 that I'd only dreamed of finding for the past 25 years without paying $500. I still have no idea what the hell I'll use it for, other than the fact that it's cool looking!

Since everyone wants pictures of my aforementioned 5150, I'll see what I can do. Bust out my Canon 100mm f2.8L (that I'm actually looking at, to the left of my LCD) and get some REALLY DETAILED shots. And with that being said, anyone have any suggestions for hosting? Eventually, I'll get a webserver going with photos, though I'm somewhat limited with only 2 static IPs from my ISP, with no option to get more.
