The reason I downplay it a bit is because often people wont actually use those software titles, and when they do, unlikely in a professional sense or to a degree where it matters. Nothing wrong with them, it's a cool upgrade, and I fit them if I have them, just don't go to the trouble of seeking them out.

Here's a look at the insides after i was cleaning it up earlier. Turns out it was assembled sometime in November 1991 as both diskette drives are dated November 1991.:

Pretty clever way to hold expansion cards tightly...you apply a little pressure for the openings for the ISA cards...(the black foam secures the 4MB DRAM SIMM in place)

Regarding your question as to what apps use a coprocessor:

    Povray
    Fractint (not all versions)
Lotus 123 and probably Excel also
Autocad, Turbocad, 3d Studio, really anything CAD related
    Simcity
    Falcon 3.0 I think?
    Matlab

Outside of that, not a lot of stuff uses the coprocessor. Most systems back then didn't have one since it was an expensive add-on, so most apps weren't coded to take advantage of it. So unless you were a heavy spreadsheet or CAD user, you probably didn't have one.
