My understanding is yes. They replaced the bezel, installed an adapter so the 400k drive had something to sit on, ROMs, etc.. few other changes. We suspect mine (or parts of) started as a Lisa 1. It appears to have a 1 drive cage with the 400k drive adapter. However there is a mismatch between serial number and what's encoded on the system boards. The external serial points to production in 83, a health check dump puts the system at late 84. We're guessing an unsold/incomplete 1 unit that was converted at factory to 2.

No issues with the imacs yet. But I have issues with my Color Classic... darkish spot in center. Tried to degauss and got some improvement but not much.

Updated my list. I've acquired over 120 items, and man do they take up space. Makes me wonder how the pcmuseum guy in Brantford, ON handles 1000+!

This does not include a heap of vintage PC stuff.

I think this year I'm going to focus on filling out the collection with less expensive things - like Tandy Mod 100, etc.

Like a BIGGER ROOM maybe ?? or a BIGGER house ?? or remove the ceiling and make it like an ATRIUM with variations motherboards and small machines as the wall paneling !! Sort of like Leonardo da Vinci Capela Sistina

I am sure one of the biggest questions many here have is :-

Do you use any of the computer resources you have to control your model railway ???

Amazingly I've got it confined to two rooms right now. I have a 30x11 garage that I've been looking hungrily at. But no decision yet. I've warned the kids that when they move out, their rooms are fair game!

Wow! You need some type of museum space. It's a shame that they're not displayed somewhere where the general public can appreciate them.

How many of these still work?

Haha.. no. The model railway has been on hiatus since I was struck with episodes of vertigo that come from trying to maintain concentration while working with tiny parts. Kinda sucks. But I bet I could find a way to do that if I resume one day...

Yeah unfortunately I live in an area where real estate is mega expensive so unless I could make a lot of money on admissions, it won't happen. And anyway I'm a joke next to collectors like pcmuseum over in Brantford, Ontario. He has 10 times the inventory I do and a building dedicated to it.
