Back in the day, USPS bought a bunch of the MatchPoint cards when they went from Apple II-based software to PCs. That's how I got mine--I was doing some business with USPS and was told by one of their purchasing managers who to ask for at MicroSolutions. If you went to them for normal retail sales, they'd swear that the boards were out of production.

The boards weren't in official production for that long.

The software all says "Written by Ron Proesel". Might be worth tracking him down. My board has (C) 1985, and the software I tried to grab unsuccessfully off the hard drive looks like this:

    Code:
    05/13/1986 01:04 PM 13,765 UNIFORM.SYS
    05/13/1986 01:00 PM 2,331 PRINT.ME
    05/13/1986 12:05 PM 38,528 UNIFORM.DAT
    05/13/1986 01:04 PM 15,706 UINSTALL.COM
    01/01/1980 12:26 AM 22,543 MPOINT.COM
    05/13/1986 01:04 PM 2,660 FIXSUPER.COM
    05/13/1986 01:04 PM 27,808 UNIFORM.EXE
I regret there are flipped bits in just about all of these, so they're only useful as a date/time/size reference.
    Offering a bounty for:
    - Documentation and original distribution disks for: Panasonic Sr. Partner, Corona PPC-400, Zenith Z-160 series
    - Music Construction Set, IBM Music Feature edition (has red sticker on front stating IBM Music Feature)
    - Any very old/ugly IBM joystick (such as the Franklin JS-123)

Did you need anything else other than the floppy image I sent? That does work.

Bottom line on this is that it's not going to work with anything faster than a slow 286. There's lots of software timing in it. Probably explains why MS discontinued it officially before 1990.
