He had one for $26 then delisted higher. They're neat sorta but I don't think $220 neat..

"It is rarer than the actual laptop!"
As silly as that statement is, it might be very well true.

Sure, but laptops made of marzipan are even rarer.

If you see it on the sold listing, and it wasn't a make offer, then you are mostly looking at someone buying it.
Even then, there are ways someone can back out of a purchase but ebay leaves it as sold.
The problem is ebay doesn't post the offer excepted values, They only post the asking price. It is a scam.

No one is paying these kinds of prices for these things. Sometimes, you’ll see something sell for a little more that usual, but never as extreme as a $10 item selling for $1,000 for example.

Typically, you’ll see these items get relisted for an eternity, and never sell. After that, I’d imagine it goes to the trash because they “couldn’t sell it”.

This is a little out there:

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F202591083793

It's missing the actual CPU board, but has the rarer expansion board that allows you to run BASIC. If he was five or six hundred lower I'd almost be tempted to buy.
